What is Valhalla?

The purpose of Valhalla is to serve the fans of Viking football, assist the football program through fundraising and marketing activities, and to actively promote the spirit of Western Washington University and its Athletics programs whenever possible.

What does "Valhalla" mean?

Valhalla, from ancient Scandinavian Mythology, is the term used for a hall where Viking warriors slain in battle would gather with Odin (god of Victory) to feast on roasted boar, drink mead, and revel in their tales.
